Premium subsidy expected to draw additional applicants
Get coverage through Inclusive Health, a state program offering affordable insurance to individuals with pre-existing medical conditions. In partnership with Brunswick Community Hospital, a representative from Inclusive Health will be available to provide additional information and enroll people to the program at the Brunswick Beacon Health Expo on Saturday, February 27, from 9 am to 2 pm at West Brunswick High School.
On Monday, Brunswick Community Hospital, as well as Novant Health’s other acute care hospitals in North Carolina, lifted visitor restrictions that temporarily prohibited children 18 and under from its hospitals during H1N1 and seasonal flu season.
The National Weather Service recently named Brunswick Community Hospital a StormReady Supporter for the hospital’s exemplary efforts in storm preparedness. Brunswick Community Hospital is only the second hospital in North Carolina to receive this prestigious recognition.
