For some golfers, playing 18 holes isn't as fun as it once was because of the pain and fatigue that can accompany a round of golf. On Thursday, April 17, from 2:30 to 4 p.m., Pat McCauley, a doctor of physical therapy and a Titleist Performance Institute Certified Golf Fitness Instructor, will offer a free seminar on how to reduce pain and enjoy the game of golf again.
Novant Health has completed an agreement with Health Management Associates, Inc. (HMA) and purchased a 27 percent share of ownership of all seven HMA hospitals in North Carolina and South Carolina for $300 million. The parties completed the transaction on March 31, 2008.

CHARLOTTE, NC - Brunswick Community Hospital, along with other Novant Health facilities, will become tobacco-free in 2007. Patients, visitors, employees, physicians and volunteers will no longer be permitted to smoke inside or outside of the facility.
