Supply - Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon Eric Lescault, D.O., will host a free seminar on Thursday, January 15, for anyone considering joint replacement surgery.
“Deciding whether joint replacement surgery is right for you can be difficult,” says Dr. Lescault, “so gathering all the information before you make a decision is essential.”
At the seminar on January 15, Dr. Lescault will share information on the common procedure and what to expect before, during, and after surgery. He will also introduce several patients who have recently had the procedure to share their experiences with those considering surgery.
The seminar, part of Brunswick Community Hospital’s Focus on Health lecture series, will be held in the Brunswick Electric Membership Corporation Community Room at 795 Ocean Highway in Shallotte. Light refreshments will be served at 2:30 p.m., and the program will begin at 2:45 p.m.
Dr. Lescault is one of four physicians with Orthopaedic Specialists, which has locations in Supply, Southport, Leland and Carolina Beach. He received his medical degree from the University of New England's Osteopathic Medical College. He then went on to complete his internship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. and completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery.
Registration for the seminar on January 15 is required. Call (910) 755-1125 to register or for more information on the upcoming seminar.
