Brunswick Community Hospital to Host Free Seminar on Stroke Prevention

Supply, N.C. - In the United States, nearly 740,000 people experience a stroke each year. Join Richard Crane, M.D., of Brunswick Community Hospital, at a free seminar on Thursday, May 20, to learn more about how to prevent and recognize a stroke.
The seminar, which is part of Brunswick Community Hospital???s Focus on Health lecture series, will begin at 2:30 p.m. at the Brunswick Electric Community Room located at 795 Ocean Highway in Shallotte. Light refreshments will be served.
In addition to discussing the signs and symptoms of a stroke, Dr. Crane will offer potentially life-saving tips for stroke prevention. Dr. Crane, who is board certified in internal medicine, is a physician at Atlantic Internal Medicine located in Supply next to Brunswick Community Hospital. He serves as vice-chief of medical staff for the hospital.
