Supply, N.C. - On Thursday, June 24, Michael Heter, MD, of the Novant Urgent Care, will share recommendations for those common acute infections that affect us all ??? from colds to bronchitis to sinusitis.

Part of Brunswick Community Hospital???s Focus on Health lecture series, the seminar will begin at 2:30 p.m. at the Brunswick Electric Community Room at 795 Ocean Highway. Light refreshments will be served.

During the seminar, Dr. Heter will place special emphasis on the changing recommendations for the appropriate use of antibiotics.

Dr. Heter is nationally board-certified in family medicine. He received his medical degree from the SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, and he completed his residency at the Kingston Hospital in Kingston, NY. He is a physician at the Novant Urgent Care located at 4503 Main Street in Shallotte.
